Rantakari's seaside cottage is a scenic holiday destination for families and small groups for relaxation, togetherness and peaceful dinners in Kotka's Tiutisse, about 90 minutes' drive from Helsinki.

The Rantakari rental cottage is equipped with all amenities and suitable for year-round use, located right by the sea in the yard of a private house. The rental cottage has a wonderful private sea terrace and a swimming pier. From the glass terrace, there are wonderful archipelago landscapes and a view over the open seascape all the way to Hamina.

Cottage accommodation for 7:

The Rantakari rental cottage is a one and a half story holiday home that can accommodate a total of 7 people in a bedroom and a loft opening into the living room. The cottage has a sofa and a spare fireplace, a well-equipped kitchenette, a bedroom, a sleeping loft, a wood-heated sauna, a toilet and a wonderful glass terrace. In front of the glazed terrace is a wonderful private sea terrace with direct access to the pier.

Bedroom and sleeping loft in the holiday home:

The rental cabin has beds for a total of 7 people. The bedroom is located on the ground floor and the room has 2 x 80 cm wide frame mattress beds. The loft has 5 x 80 cm frame mattress beds. Access to the loft is via steep stairs, so the loft is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. All beds have blankets and pillows. Linens can be rented separately. Rantakari's rental cabin is best suited for 6-7 people, but there is a spare mattress in the loft and the sofa in the living room can also accommodate if needed.

The rental cottage has a kitchenette and comprehensive cutlery and serving dishes for 8 people. The kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, tall freezer and microwave. The kitchen also has a coffee maker, kettle, toaster and whisk. Also wine glasses and sparkling wine glasses. Dishwashing liquid is included in the rent. The glazed terrace has a dining table for 8 people.

Wood-heated sauna, washrooms and 2 x toilets. The rental cottage has a small wood-heated sauna. The sauna can accommodate 3 bathers at a time. The sauna has a wood-heated stove and the washroom has a shower and toilet. The cottage also has a separate toilet. Firewood can be found in the firewood storeroom on the wall of the warehouse.

Fishing cabin for families and groups:

Rantakari's seaside cottage is located in Tiutiske, next to good fishing waters, and is also perfectly suited as a fishing cottage for families and small fishing groups. Although staying overnight in a boat cabin or tent on a treeless island may sound like a good idea before the trip, staying in our cabin in Rantakari can be safer and more comfortable in the event of a storm, for example.

Our cabin has all the necessary comforts and necessities, so you can use all the time for fishing if you want. After a fishing trip, you can enjoy the relaxing warmth on the boards of the beach sauna and listen to the crackling of the fire in the fireplace. Come and enjoy a comfortable stay alone or with friends!

Rowing boat available:

Rantakari's rental cottage also offers opportunities for boating and fishing. The detached house's rowing boat is available at no additional charge. Please remember to secure the rowing boat carefully and report any defects to our customer service so that we can keep the boat in working condition despite the storms.

Grilling on the terrace of the rental cottage The glazed terrace has direct access to the sea terrace and pier located in front of the cottage. The beach terrace is bordered by screens and there is no direct line of sight to the neighbor. The beach terrace has a gas grill, a dining table suitable for outdoor dining, and sun loungers.

Private jetty:

There is a footbridge to the pier from the beach terrace. The level of the sea water varies greatly, so during low water the access bridge to the pier is steep. You have to be careful when you go to the pier. There are swimming stairs at the end of the pier, which depending on the weather are usually available at least from April-May until December. When the sea is frozen, customers can, if they wish, make an opening at the end of the pier. The beach in front of the cottage has a sudden depth, and it is not suitable for children who cannot swim. The nearest sandy beach is Tiutinen's own sandy beach, just over 100 meters away, at the end of Pyrinnöntie.
