Villa Kaunisvirta is a wonderful log cabin for year-round use in Pyhtää, about 100 km east of Helsinki. The cabin is located by the river, right in the heart of nature.

The cabin has accommodation for 12 people in two separate cabins, the main building and a separate sauna building. The cottage also has a barbecue canopy, a fine traditional log storage shed and a wooden shed. A swimming pier on the beach.

Kaunisvirta's log cabin is perfect for vacationing and accommodation all year round. The river often stays open until the end of December. Palju is also available all year round. The river is often frozen in January, but if you want, you can make an opening at the end of the pier.

Kaunisvirta resort consists of two separate buildings:

From the main building and the sauna cottage, which can accommodate a maximum of 12 people. Both cottages have sleeping quarters, shower and toilet.

The sauna cabin has separate beds for four in the sleeping loft, and the main building has three separate bedrooms with accommodation for 8 people.

Downstairs there is one bedroom with a 140 cm wide small loft bed.

Upstairs there are two larger bedrooms, one with 2 x 90 cm beds and the other with 4 x 80 cm beds. Some of the beds are placed next to each other. Access to the second floor is via rather steep stairs.

The main cabin also has an atmospheric living room with a fireplace and a comfortable big sofa to create the atmosphere.

The main building of Kaunisvirta is about 105 m2 in size, and the sauna building is 30 m2 and the loft is about 15 m2. A total of about 150m2.

All beds have blankets and pillows. Linen can be rented separately.

The loft above the sauna has spare mattresses and, if necessary, the cabin can accommodate a few extra people.

The main cabin has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area:

The kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, high freezer, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Also a toaster and a whisk. Crockery and cutlery are available for at least 12 people. Dishwashing detergent, garbage bags and household paper are included in the rent. The kitchen also often has salt and pepper, coffee and filter bags on offer. Next to the kitchen is a dining area with a large dining table for 10 people. If there are 12 guests, not everyone can sit at the same table at the same time.

Separate sauna building with sauna and washrooms:

The cottage has a separate sauna building with a floor area of ​​about 30 m2, which has a large wood-heated sauna. The sauna has wonderful views of the river. Next to the sauna is a washroom with access to the outdoor terrace. Above the sauna is a sleeping loft for four. Access to the loft via steep stairs. There is also a separate shower room in the main building, where you can also use a washing machine.

You can jump in the warm water and enjoy yourself regardless of the weather. Palju is located in front of the sauna, partially embedded in the terrace.
