A visit to the husky farm and a 10 km long husky safari

After you have been picked up and given warm clothes (recommended as it can be very cold during the Safari), your guide will drive you to a very lovely husky farm located 30 minutes drive from Rovaniemi. As soon as you get out of the city, you can already enjoy the enchanting snowy forests and surrounding landscapes.

At the farm, you will be welcomed by the owners and the enthusiastic barking of their lovely dogs. You will be introduced to the dogs and given safety instructions and tips for driving the sled. When you are ready, you will go on a wonderful sleigh ride through the winter scenery for a distance of about 10 kilometers (about 60 to 75 minutes depending on the snow conditions). There is always a maximum of 2 adults on a sled ride (one driving and one passenger sitting in the sleigh), and you have the option to switch drivers and passengers halfway through.

Important:

Be prepared with good layers of clothing. The minimum number of participants is 2 people. A maximum of 8 participants in the group. Bring a good mood and the best hugs for dogs! And don't forget the camera either!

Teimme 6 erilaista kiertuetta Wild About Laplandin kanssa ja meillä oli hauskaa. Matkojen varaaminen heidän kanssaan oli paras päätös. Ryhmät olivat aina pieniä, oppaat olivat erittäin asiantuntevia, mukavia ja avuliaita. Oppaamme olivat Gábor, Guillermo, Andy, Steven, Lukas ja Denis, ja meillä oli hauskaa heidän kanssaan. Saimme haalarit ja saappaat retkille, kun omamme eivät olleet tarpeeksi lämpimiä ja saimme eväitä useimmilla kierroksilla. Ryhmät olivat aina pieniä ja siellä oli hyvä henki. Nautimme todella ajastamme heidän kanssaan.

Kävin tällä retkellä 7-vuotiaan tyttäreni kanssa. Henkeäsalpaavan kaunis. Olimme 7 kanssa opas mukaan lukien. Pidän siitä, että Wild About Lapland pitää aina pienempiä ryhmiä. Oppaamme Emily oli erittäin ystävällinen ja mukava. Hän antoi meille tietoa ympäristöstä ja piti kaikki mukana. Tyttärelläni oli hämmästyttävä aika chattailussa koko ajan (näet alla olevasta kuvasta kuinka he liittyivät yhteen ?) Se oli kaunein revontulien metsästysretki, jonka olemme tehneet! Pienessä ryhmässä Atanas vei meidät kauniisiin, vähän tavattuihin paikkoihin: järvelle ja metsään. Siellä oli upea taivas, täynnä tähtiä. Luonnon kanssa kosketus oli taianomaista! Atanas teki parhaansa päästääkseen meidän näkemään revontulia ja ponnisteli ottamalla meistä useita kuvia eri paikoissa! Välipala tipiin keittämällä makkaroita ja syömällä keksejä! Erittäin suositeltavaa!! Kuvat saapuivat seuraavana päivänä linkin kautta sähköpostiin
