Chasing the northern lights on a reindeer sleigh ride

This excursion starts from the center of Rovaniemi and takes you to one of the most traditional reindeer farms in Southern Lapland. These family-owned farms are located just outside Rovaniemi, on the lovely shore of a peaceful lake. Reindeer have been grazed on the farm for 200 years, and the farmers have lived in the area for 500 years. From our point of view, these reindeer farms with their inhabitants offer the most authentic experience in terms of both knowledge and service.

At the farm, you will be introduced to the reindeer pulling your sleigh and you will be invited to ride the sleigh. After that, the reindeer sleigh takes you on a peaceful sleigh ride, where arctic nature shows all its quiet beauty. All it takes is a little luck, and soon you'll be able to see and enjoy the spectacular northern lights dancing across the sky. After the trip, a hot drink and a snack await you in the farm's wooden cabin.

Pick-up and return transport to accommodation outside the city centre;

Professional winter clothes/boots if necessary;

Important:

We can provide you with overalls and boots, but be prepared with warm underlayers, socks, a hat and gloves. The minimum number of participants is 2 people. A maximum of 8 participants in the group.

The number of safaris is limited for the safety and welfare of the animals. We recommend booking a place in advance, especially during the high season. If the safari is fully booked, you will be notified as soon as possible that the safari cannot be arranged. You will be given the option of a full refund or exchange for a full-day reindeer safari or our famous Northern Lights Wilderness Tour.

Teimme 6 erilaista kiertuetta Wild About Laplandin kanssa ja meillä oli hauskaa. Matkojen varaaminen heidän kanssaan oli paras päätös. Ryhmät olivat aina pieniä, oppaat olivat erittäin asiantuntevia, mukavia ja avuliaita. Oppaamme olivat Gábor, Guillermo, Andy, Steven, Lukas ja Denis, ja meillä oli hauskaa heidän kanssaan. Saimme haalarit ja saappaat retkille, kun omamme eivät olleet tarpeeksi lämpimiä ja saimme eväitä useimmilla kierroksilla. Ryhmät olivat aina pieniä ja siellä oli hyvä henki. Nautimme todella ajastamme heidän kanssaan.

Kävin tällä retkellä 7-vuotiaan tyttäreni kanssa. Henkeäsalpaavan kaunis. Olimme 7 kanssa opas mukaan lukien. Pidän siitä, että Wild About Lapland pitää aina pienempiä ryhmiä. Oppaamme Emily oli erittäin ystävällinen ja mukava. Hän antoi meille tietoa ympäristöstä ja piti kaikki mukana. Tyttärelläni oli hämmästyttävä aika chattailussa koko ajan (näet alla olevasta kuvasta kuinka he liittyivät yhteen ?) Se oli kaunein revontulien metsästysretki, jonka olemme tehneet! Pienessä ryhmässä Atanas vei meidät kauniisiin, vähän tavattuihin paikkoihin: järvelle ja metsään. Siellä oli upea taivas, täynnä tähtiä. Luonnon kanssa kosketus oli taianomaista! Atanas teki parhaansa päästääkseen meidän näkemään revontulia ja ponnisteli ottamalla meistä useita kuvia eri paikoissa! Välipala tipiin keittämällä makkaroita ja syömällä keksejä! Erittäin suositeltavaa!! Kuvat saapuivat seuraavana päivänä linkin kautta sähköpostiin
