"Museum of Etnocosmology of Lithuania" is the first and so far the only museum of its kind in the world, and the first museum in Lithuania that operates around the clock. Do not miss the opportunity to visit.
Lithuanian ethnocosmology museum night monitoring starts at 1 – 1 hour. 30 min. after the sunset. Showing 5 different night sky objects (the Moon, the planets, the stars in their pairs, the swarms, nebula of the galaxy). The guide aims the telescope, presents the observed objects. This is a unique observation, a real glimpse into the stars, helps to feel the vast distances of the Universe.
You should note that the sky at different time of the year and even the night is different, e.g., there are nights, when the Moon doesn't rise, in folk they are called "tarpijomis" - voids. Observing is more suitable for darker nights. Also the program takes place at high altitude, in an open room, so it is recommended to dress up with warm clothes.

Tours only run on clear nights. Tours only take place when there are more than 10 people attending. Tours run all year (Mondays -Fridays). For children under 6 years old, entrance is free.
