Free fall jumps (NOVA jumps) are jumped from a height of 4,000 meters, in which case the free fall takes about half a minute to just under a minute. The speed in free fall accelerates to almost 200 km/h! The parachute is opened at an altitude of more than a kilometer, after which it takes about 5 minutes to admire the scenery while floating on the parachute.
The skydiving course with free fall (NOVA course) is organized by a skydiving training organization approved by the Finnish Aviation Federation (SIL). After your first jump, you have the opportunity to continue skydiving and make it your hobby!
The price of the NOVA course includes one jump, the right to use jump equipment (up to independent jumper) and membership of the training parachute club for the rest of the year.
Before the jump, the jumper gives an assurance about his health status using a questionnaire and, if necessary, presents a medical certificate. Standard leisure insurances usually do not cover the so-called speed sports, so you should ensure your own insurance cover.
