Tandem skydiving
Tandem skydiving allows you to free fall quickly and effortlessly!
With tandem jumping, you jump with a tandem jumping master connected to the same harness. A tandem jumping master is an experienced jumper who has received special training for tandem jumping. He will take care of the jump and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy your skydive.
Tandem jumps are jumped from a height of 3,000-4,000 meters, during which the free fall takes about half a minute to just under a minute. The speed in free fall accelerates to almost 200 kilometers per hour. The parachute is opened at an altitude of more than a kilometer, after which it takes about 5 minutes to admire the scenery while floating on the parachute.
It is recommended to come to the jumping place equipped with casual clothes and shoes suitable for exercise. You get to wear a jump suit and a protective headgear. In addition, you get goggles to protect your eyes from the force of a free fall.

Skydiving on the agreed day is not completely guaranteed, because the weather can suddenly change and the jump can be moved to another time. However, most of the jumps are successful according to the agreed schedule.
Participating in tandem jumping must be of legal age. The maximum height of a participant in a tandem jump is 2 m and the maximum weight is 100 kg. Before the jump, the jumper gives an assurance about his health status using a questionnaire. Based on the form, a medical certificate can be required from the jumper if necessary. For people over 65, a medical certificate is mandatory. Standard leisure insurances usually do not cover the so-called speed sports, so you should ensure your own insurance coverage. The person performing the tandem jump must not be under the influence of alcohol.
The organizer has insurance in case of permanent damage and death. The insurance covers both the student and the tandem jump master. In the case of an accident, the insurance covers the treatment costs of the tandem jumping student's injury at 15,000 eur/accident, and the deductible is 100 eur for each sudden accident.

Helppo allekirjoittaa aiemmat arvostelut, "porukka" kaikkinensa oli ystävällistä ja hyväntuulista, joten sinne oli helppo hetkeksi solahtaa.
