The private Kernu manor complex, rising on the shores of a delightful dam lake, was built in the early 19th century in a beautiful classicist style by the Ungern-Sternberge baronial family. The designer is probably Carl Ludvig Engel, who later became the architect of the city of Helsinki.
Today, the Kernu manor has a new exterior. The manor's main building has been renovated, and with its cozy atmosphere, guests are invited to spend a pleasant time at Kernu Manor. It is located only half a kilometer from the Pärnu highway and a little over half an hour's drive from the center of Tallinn. The Kernu manor operates a hotel, a seminar center, weddings, concerts and theater performances are organized, and the manor restaurant takes care of your appetite.
