Try ice climbing at Pyhä. Swing your ice axes into the wall and climb up the ice face! Pyhä’s Tajukangas ice sanctuary is only a 10-minute hike from Hotel Pyhätunturi. A Bliss Adventure instructor will belay the climber with a rope, provide guidance and encouragement. Meanwhile, the other participants enjoy the warmth of a campfire and a hot drink and follow the climber’s progress on the wall. Enjoying ice climbing does not require prior climbing experience, and it suits everyone who enjoys brisk outdoor activities.

A small, pocket-sized snack for breaks (energy bar, chocolate, nuts, etc.) can be a good idea.
The ice climbing taster is best suited for those over 12 years old. Younger children can climb at the same time with a parent.
